Today, a "dot com" on your business card is expected. Customers are expecting you to have a web presence where they can find out more about who you are and your products and services. If you are recruiting employees, they expect a web site where they can find out more about your organization. The image that you provide on the web is very important because, to a large part, it presents your image to the public. You want that image to be a professional one.

Advanced Electrolysis, etc. |
 |
Advanced Electrolysis, etc. strives to help its customers improve their self-esteem through the permanent removal of unwanted hair. The owner wanted to a forum to answer questions about hair removal and to present a professional image to attract new clients. Both information and directions to the office are included. |
| One objective was to attract both men and women as clients, so the colors and motive were kept simple. For example, the use of the color pink and flowers that are frequently used on similar sites were avoided, so the image would not alienate potential male clients. |
The web presence is a good way for nonprofit organizations to quickly communicate information to its membership. It is also a good way to solicit support and recruit new members.

eZines and Literary Sites
Many sites on the web were set up to express personal creativity. Often, these sites are out of love and just for fun.
|
An alternate area of the WarmEarth site is being established to allow publication of various literary efforts, including:
- Local History
- Poetry
- Photography
|
 |
The WarmEarth Literary Site is still under construction, but it intended to grow into a gathering place for creative writers and artists to share and display their talents. Too much good work is created and never shared. |
| If you would like to submit work for publication at WarmEarth's literary site, contact Drue Porter at drue@warmearth.com |
